crossfading when closing application

Could you please apply the cross-fading settings on closing guayadeque while a song is playing. Currently the sound is abruptly stopped.

I dont like cross-fading and I switched it off. but I also would like to stop a song softly (a short fade-out) when I press 'stop playing' or press 'pause' or press 'play' when a song paused. also when I quit guayadeque or shut down the pc a softly stop would be nice (for my ears).
