Copy to samba share
  • I had this working and some update borked my computer so I had to do a complete reinstall. I backed up my .guayadeque folder and reloaded it after reinstalling everything. My library showed up fine. I had to edit the path in my 'copy to' setting as I have change my server config since I last tried copying anything with Guayadeque. Now when I try to copy to the server the 'copy to' function fails. I'm sure there's something simple I've forgotten since I set this up.

    Any ideas?
  • You must have mounted the shared and point guayadeque to the mount point. Be sure you mount it with write permissions.
  • Hadn't thought of that. I'll try it when I get home. Thanks!
  • If you just open the share from nautilus gnome used to mount it at .gvfs folder in your home. Im not sure what it does in latest ubuntu versions
