Something awkward in Preferences
  • Sorry to keep you busy anonbeat, but let's see what you think about this:

In Preferences>links, if the link if very long it "gets lost" within the window. You have to scroll to reach the buttons on the right. Try with this one http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?hl=en&tab=mw#q={text}&hl=en&site=webhp&prmd=imvns&source=lnms&tbm=blg&ei=PqjjTsjPLsWb8gOkvZDqAw&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=9&ved=0CB4Q_AUoCA&prmdo=1&fp=1&biw=1360&bih=680&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.,cf.osb&cad=b (to search Google Blogs)

This is inconvenient for anyone and potentially bad for new users as they might not know they are there. Not sure if you want to spend any time on this, but if you do the possibilities I can think of are:

-The text of the link wraps within the space available (so more than one line of text if needed but not sure if the tool kit allows this)

-You put the buttons to the left of the box as opposed to the right (but for consistence you would have to do the same for the other options in preferences and maybe you can't be bothered with these things...)

Maybe not strictly a bug but a small usability improvement nonetheless.

    Regards

Howdy, Stranger!
